"I added these to my Sony Surround 5.1 system in place of my front L+R speakers. Once I set up for "large" front speakers on the receiver, which drops the crossover from 150Hz to 75Hz for these channels, I appreciated heo wider, smoother response. "Before I knew much about sound (and before Best Buy offered the Insignia NS-B2111's), I snagged these while they were still under a hundred dollars.
