A product I can recommend.

"I use the Sony DVD Recorder to record TV shows so that I can watch them when I have time, without having to subscribe to a monthly service. PRO's: I'm very pleased with the play back - picture quality on my Sony 50 inch TV. You have to look close to see the slight difference between the recording and regular HD, when recording in HQ or HSP. It's barely enough for me to notice. The Sony Recorder works well wi..." Great features, little short on quality

"I've been a loyal Sony fan for many years, but I have to say I'm beginning to question whether its worth it. The last couple of Sony purchases (camera and now this DVD/VCR) have been a letdown in the quality I've come to expect in Sony.
