"I PURCHASED THIS DVD AND FIRST TIME I USED IT WORKED GREAT AFTER THAT KEPT FREEZING AND MACHINE WOULD NOT TURN ON AND COULD NOT GET DVD OUT. THIS MACHINE WAS PURCHASED IN JUNE BRAND NEW AND HAVING PROBLEMS CALLED SONY THEY FIRST TROUBLESHOOT ON PHONE BECAUSE THEY DON'T REALLY WANT TO REPLACE BEING THEY COULD NOT FIX PROBLEM NOW I HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING CHARGES TO SEND TO SONY...." Granted, if you're opening it, you're probably going to do something with it and therefore standing up, but still...In all though, does everything it is supposed to at a great price. "
