"My original goal was to copy a large collection of ice skating VHS tapes I'd made over the years to DVDs. There are many options on the market for dubbing VHS tape to DVD but in my opinion none are as flexible and economical as the Sony RDR-VX560. "Like many DVD Recorder/VCR combos, the Sony RDR-VX560 does not include a TV tuner. It will not record unless you have cable or a satellite dish.
Of course, most customer now have cable or a satellite dish, but for those who do not, the lack of a TV tuner is a big problem.
