"For the money, I am very impressed. It has an HDMI port, and all the other connections you would expect. The coolest part is that it plays just about any disk you can throw at it. I had a mixed dvd+rw with video, and mp3s on it. It played everything without problem. The menu was a little weird, but I figured it out pretty quick. The down side? "After much hype about this product, I found it on sale at BB for $80. I was excited about the 1080p upscaling and the HDMI connection. I hooked it up to my Bravia 26" via HDMI expecting a difference in picture quality over my Sony DVP-NS57P player (with component connection).
