"We had to replace two Audiovox DVD players that the kids trashed (within 6 months). For the cost per unit, the Sony DVD players have performed magnificently. I am very impressed with the quality of the players, as most people would expect from Sony. "I bought this for a long trip we had planned and had done much research to find the DVD player with the longest battery charge. Opened the box, charged it and tried playing a DVD, wouldn't load. Put another DVD in, wouldn't load. Tried over 5 different discs (all clean, no scratches). None would load. So we packed it along for the ride, just in case.
