"Not a specialist on camcorders, I bought a SD camera because I didn't feel like spending so much money for a HD one... bought Sony because I'm addicted to the brand... Overall I'm happy with the camera - point-and-shoot. Some advanced controls are there if you want to use them but they do not clog the interface. Easy to operate, buttons are organized intuitively.
