Hard to find consistent reception

"I live in San Francisco where I guess there are a lot of stations used, so it's really difficult to find a station that keeps a stable transmission. My commute to work is about 40 miles and I had to keep changing stations. When I did get a feed, the reception was sometimes pretty bad. "
