"I own the BP-U30 and it just doesn't give me enough run time. I purchased this BP-U60 and was amazed at how much more time I got and it is a lot nicer not having to stop production to switch out the battery. The only downside is the weight the battery adds to the camera as well as it sticks out a bit further from the back of the camera making it look a bit weird.
