"I was looking for a simple AM/FM/CD for my classic car.....needed to have controls that were easy enough to figure out and use while driving....some of the new aftermarket units out there, you almost need a co-pilot in the car to change settings etc! "It has great FM reception---as good as the Pioneer Supertuner III. Controls are simple to figure out. I added an antenna booster from JC Whitney since most radio stations are 70 plus miles away in the mountains but the radio does a great job without it. "
