"Bought this for use in my studio.Great sound for a great price.[...]The Sony is a great unit. I have no complaints, and if I ever want to use it in an audiophile system it does have an S/PDIF (w/RCA) out for use with an external DAC. "Mine has worked fine for over a year. Sound quality is not great through the analog outputs. Sounds good hooked up using the digital output to a receiver with an optical digital input. There's no excuse for a CD player in this price-range to sound bad (and it does) through the analog outputs though.
