"Many great features for a clock radio, but you'll need the User's Guide to get started. No battery backup. CD transport flimsy, and capability limited; only one constant speed (about 4x) for foward and reverse seeking, making it very slow to search. "My issue is that I use this primarily at night when I cannot sleep. Using the controls in the dark was really a problem for me. I could operate my old one easily but on this one the buttons that you want most regularly were not prominent (on/off) and the 'sleep' button.
