"New HDTV unpacked, set in place, and plugged in---worked great. I also have an 46XBR2 and this one does seem better on SD and HD but it is difficult to see the difference. The menu on the XBR 6 is very different than the XBR2 which does not have all the XBR 2 complicated stuff, at least I haven't found it if it does.
