Product Reviews
"The price is great, and it's small and lightweight - ideal as a spare to have along. Add electrical tape in the trough to insulate the flash hot pins. The adapter works well enough for rare use. But if you plan to use it frequently with a Canon flash, there is a much better alternative. See Crane Strobe Locking Shoe f/Canon, CRSLSC. Price is 3X, but it's far easier to use and more secure...." Read Full Review »

"The product works fine for my application, but it may not for some others. As you can see from the picture, the 1/4" bolt you use has to the exact length you need it to be or it will protrude into the shoe area. This could cause problems for some people. I personally have it epoxied to my camera rig, so it isn't a problem for me...." Read Full Review »

"I have a few of these shoes that I use to custom mount flashes and sensors; they work great for that. There is no spring metal on the base or a stop in the front however, so the only thing that keeps stuff from sliding out of the shoe is the screw on the side. It works fine, but is slightly annoyi …" Read Full Review »

"I purchased this to mount a Nikon speedlight to an umbrella stand -- but I made the mistake of buying a cheap one, and paid the price. This does not work for that purpose. The fit is so loose, even with the SB-900, which has a slightly bigger hotshoe, that the flash unit falls out (I tried the SB-6 …" Read Full Review »

"I use this product on my Rode Videomic and it has worked great so far.
It has solid construction and tightens up well.
The only thing that i would improve on the design is a back, because if you do not tighten the screw all of the way your mic may slide off.
All and all, good product.
