"Ok so everyone knows that since the FCC regulated the signal that the satellite radio companies were using for the built in wireless FM transmitter in all new radios are horrible, thus, the need for the FM DIRECT ADAPTER which wires directly into the vehicles antenna. "I use this product in my car and at work. Orginaly had the sportster 1 and the display stated to fade out. i got the 5 as a gift. i like the multiple color display selections.
