"I had my car kit installed at one of the major electronic retailers because I required professional installation. For me, the car kit is not a basic, plug and play type installation. But of course, the installer took only about 15-20 minutes to install it in my car. "I truely believe that Sirius is losing business because of simple mistakes. The Car Kit is probably at the top of the list. They could use a very simple antenna that would allow for very reliable reception. The magnet antenna is a great case of something that could be fixed easy.
