Ever forgotten to put the lens cap back on your lens and then walked off without it? This tidy cap keeping system will solve that problem and is especially designed for those of us with more than one lens.

An elastic band fits around the barrel of the lens and is connected by a short string to a small plastic disc that is glued to the lens cap. Remove the cap and simply let it dangle below the lens.

Does the job!!

"I have nikon SLR with various lenses. The lens cap holder makes it easy to just remove the cap and start taking pictures. I don't have to keep looking around for the cap. I have yet to see how long the adhesive stays on the cap from the cap holder, but so far it seems like a good way from losing the lens caps...." Read Full Review »

Not All That I Hoped For

"I purchased three of these lens cap leashes, one for each of the three Nikkor lenses that I use on my Nikon D80 - 50mm f/1.8D, 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G & 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G. However, one of the leashes was defective on arrival. The adhesive button that adheres to the lens cap is equipped with a string which is joined to an elastic band byway of a crimped metal clasp. When I was adjusting the elastic band around the 7..." Read Full Review »

"I tried the CapKeeper and all that happened was it bumped and banged the lens cap on everthing around me. Loud and distracting banging. Put the cap in your front pocket, it's better and free.

Imagine a lens cap dangling 2 feet below your camera, flopping all over the place as you move around! "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

"Needed a functional way to hold a cap without having to hold it in your hand. First cap keeper separated at the attaching point and had to be reglued. Second cap keeper's elastic stretched out. Elastic slides along lens and gets caught. Works great if you aren't using the camera! "

"For something that is practically free, this is a pretty amazing thing! I have one on all my lenses. The cap stays attached without having to worry about putting it in a pocket or carrying it in your hand. The only way I can imagine having a lens without one is if I buy a pancake or a lens otherwise …"  Read Full Review »
