"Purchased as factory refurbished unit, small footprint and flat screen is ideal for our kitchen counter. Very attractive design. Sound is awful, very poor, tinny, no bass. If Audio/Video ratings were separate I'd rate Audio:1 Video:4+ Picture is quite good but has one bad pixel (red most all of the time) that cropped up after 2 weeks. "Audio is very tinny and thin sounding. Might be OK with a set of external speakers. Bought this to replace an ancient TV in my kitchen, so it serves that purpose well. It's perfect for something to have around when working, but I wouldn't recommend it as a primary viewing experience. "
