Great picture, marginal sound

"Everything about the picture quality is excellent, and the TV gets a great picture, even from an analogue signal (so you can hook up directly to cable and without a cable box). Easy to set-up -- it took less than five minutes to open the box, plug it it, go through the auto setup and start watching. I don't understand.

"I finally purchased one of these things and I don't understand why people put up with them. It's the type of tv that you would see in the movies on top of kitchen counters of wealthy families. For the price, i can get a widescreen lcd many inches bigger. HDTV on a 15" screen just doesn't make sense to me. I can watch a VCD and not notice any video distortion unless I'm inches away...."
