With a 26-inch screen size, the elegant AQUOS LC-26D42U-W, in a unique white cabinet, complements many designs. With a true 16:9 aspect ratio, HDTV resolution of 1366 x 768, Sharp`s Emmy award-winning LCD technology and breathtaking color purity, it is a next-generation TV to carry you into the high-definition future. This LCD-TV utilizes Sharp`s proprietary Advanced Super View/Black TFT Panel providing 6000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, 6ms response time and wide viewing angles (176 degreesH x 176 degreesV). The LC-26D42U-W is a HDTV with built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC tuners and include 2 HDMI(TM) and HD component video inputs as well as a D-sub, 15-pin input for PC compatibility. It also features a matching white remote control, and the included table stand easily removes for wall mounting applications. Optional AN-LCGWF Wall Mount Bracket is also available.

"I looked at and researched several LCD HD TVs. Came down to Sony and Sharp Aquos. All things considered I picked the Aquos. The Aquos was also less expensive. This is my 2nd Aquos LCD and like my first one has excellent picture quality. Don't have digital HD cable service yet, but even with analog the picture quality is great. "We have wall mounted the Sharp AQUOS 26" LCD HDTV in our covered lanai area off of the kitchen and dining room. Good to GREAT picture, even with surrounding (outside of the lanai) bright sunlight. We can even lay in the sun by the pool off of the lanai area, and watch sports programs. "

connecting screws defective

"the only problem was attaching base to tv, two screws are defective and won't connect tv to base it only has two screwa instead of 4 holding it together. I called and BASISICLY TOLD THAT I MUST HAVE STRIPPED SCREWS not true. They have not replaced them which is somewhat upsetting "
