"I bought this TV for my mother for Christmas. She wanted something to take up less room than the very nice four-year-old Sony CRT model she had on the kitchen countertop. I measured all the small LCDs I saw and this was one of the few 19" models that would clear the overhanging cabinets. "I had read the reviews and expected really high image quality and sound to match. This was not the least expensive 19" LCD TV I could purchase. To start, right out of the box the manual was complicated and confusing. It took for granted that you knew what all the acronyms associated with the TV stood for. Sharp 19" Black LCD HDTV Review
"There simply is no way you would ever know this TV was refurbished. The picture quality is awesome even hanging high on the wall of our kitchen with a flourescent ceiling light just 6 feet away. I may purchase another for the bedroom. The TV was delivered in 4 days. "
