Sennheiser improves family relationships

"Being seriously deaf with minimal residual hearing, I am unable to listen to TV and audio devices without assistive listening devices. My wife and kids used to keep headaches due to the loud volume, or I got "ear squint" trying to make out what was being said on TV. Hearing aids only helped a little. hit or miss?

"I bought these to watch movies late at night without waking others in the house. Unfortunately, I can't get rid of static. The wireless aspect of these phones works by transmitting over FM frequencies. I suspect this is why I can't get rid of the static- the three transmission frequency options (which aren't identified beyond "A" "B" and "C") must be high-traffic frequencies in my area.
