"This is the best alarm clock I have owned! You never have to set it, oh and yes - the alarm is loud but isn't that what you want? I keep the backlight feature off because I like a dark room but one tap on the snooze and it lights up briefly so you can check the time! Awesome! "

"The clock is great. The dimming issues mentioned by a few others is non-existent... there are enough steps to find a level that would work for virtually anyone. However, rather than create 4 or 5 distinct brightness settings for the display, a rheostat would have been a better choice.

"Very nice product for those of us that have fairly frequent power outages. Only complaint is that you have to place the clock at eye level in order to read the display at night. If it's up higher, the angle whites out the numbers and you cannot read it. "
