"If this clock were a little heavier, I'd have given it 5 stars. Although it's a little on the light side, this is one great alarm clock for the money. Silent, night light, good size, faintly phosphorescent dial so you know where it is (but can't read it w/o the night light), pleasant alarm, everything you'd expect from Seiko --- except the light plastic case, which should be improved. But, I purchased it initially because it is battery powered and is a brand that is reliable.
I needed an alarm clock that I could trust to get me up for work and this is the best clock to do this.

"We love the fact that the clock is silent- not a tick can be heard. The ascending tone is also very calming to wake up to as opposed to a loud shrill buzzing sound that we have had on other clocks. It is definitely a good product and the price is very fair! "
