"Seagate 1TB Freeagent Desktop Hard Drive: Easy pleasy setup. Quiet operation. The initial backup really does not take long. This is the first exterior drive I have purchased in 22 years and I am happy with it. No special technical ability needed to use it. Plug and go. Ignore the drive and it does its job...." Piece of JUNK

"Drive fails to be recognized after just weeks of use. Searched the internet and this is a common issue with this Brand and Model. Do not purchase unless you're willing to take a gamble. Worked perfectly out of the box for about 2 weeks and now the drive won't recognize on my brand new MacBook Pro or MacMini. Ended up reformatting and now only the USB port works...."
