Good Drive with new firmware

"When these drives came out, they had flaky firmware that would cause the drives not to split up some times and not to hang once and a while, especially when they spin down while serving low bandwidth data from the cache. I currently run two sets of 8 drives under Vista Ultimate in a Stripped RAID array, yep two 11TB Software RAID5 Arrays. The start up time for the array when they are alseep is more than I would..." "I never had an issue with installing or moving a hard drive to another location before & i know what im doing when i install internal hardware in a computer. But this is ridiculous. I have had 3 faulty Seagate Hdd's.. the first one i bought was an external one which the USB connector snapped/broke off & the hard drive itself went dead.
