The Sea & Sea DX-8000G is a kit that includes the Sea & Sea housing that is rated to a depth of 180' (55 m) and the Sea & Sea 8000G camera. Since this camera has a shutter lag time of only 0.10 sec. it is well suited for underwater use. The camera is also ideal for snorkeling surfing skiing fishing sailing or even certain industrial situations. The Sea & Sea DX-8000G housing allows access to all camera functions underwater. The camera is part of a system that will nurture your creativity and allow expansion of your underwater photography skills. The kit includes one Sea & Sea YS-27 flash that was designed specifically for digital cameras. It synchronizes with a unique fiber optic cord for a flood free connection. Lightweight and compact this is the prefect strobe for the Sea & Sea DX-800G camera system. This full featured strobe offers exposure control with a 9 step manual control. All you need to do is set your aperture to match the number on the control. If your images are a little too light or dark just dial the power up or down. The fiber optic cable transmits light from the cameras built in flash to the strobes built in slave. The Sea & Sea Sea Arm Light with built in tray is also included. The sea arm is constructed of fiber glass with fortified nylon. This makes it rigid to keep the strobe in the right position. It is also very light and compact. The arm has a rubber grip that provides a comfortable handhold. The arm is made up of two 5.1" sections.
