"The TV reads and says its 720P/1080i.. NOT TRUE. i am using my 360 through the VGA plug and i get 1080p. PS3 onl;y 720p. not that i care... the audio can be bad. just turn base down. also the TV is huge. i though it looked small in the store and was gona buy a 42" instead.. but i went with this. dont be suprised if people mistake it for 42" the 1 complaint i got is only 1 RCA component plug so my dreamcast/xbox/..." "Radio Shack will not stand by this TV. My Scott just quite working 9 months into my purchase. I had to pry warranty information out of my local store. Finally got an 800 number to Akai after several attempts. Once I called Akai, I was promised in home repair within 3 weeks. After waiting several more weeks, I again called. "Terrible support from Akai/Scott
LCD developed a 1/4 wide fuzzy vertical line after 6 months.
Akai sent out a tech to repair for guaranteed in-home service. Tech determined it was unrepairable, stated no replacement LCD available. TV Should be replaced.

"Radio Shack should be ASHAMED of themselves. Owned this garbage for exactly one year and twelve days. The same problem that many others have had with this system...the power quits.
