Not bad but about right for the money

"I tried this unit before the Vivitar 840x.., and this unit is far superior but not good enough for what I am looking for. I found the unit didn't handle lower light conditoins well (average living room lighting). The audio recording and playback was good as was the video even on my Sony 40" HD tv.
