"Needed a way to hang my 37 inch Panasonic Viera flat screen TV on the living room wall. The Sanus VM400 turned out to be just the ticket. To be honest I was dubious when ordering. "This is a fantastic wall mount for any 40'' TV unless you happened to buy a Sony. The sony mounting holes are a good 1 inch farther out on each side than this mount plate can handle.
