"This is great pair of speaker stands for mid sized bookshelf speakers. IMHO, they'd look big for small satelites like Bose or Klipsch Quintet. I'm using them for my Polk RTi4 but from the construction, I'm sure it'll handle the RTi6 just fine. "I ordered three pair of these stands to hold my hsuresearch speakers (8"x8" base, 20lbs). Of the six stands, two were entirely defective: stripped bolts, broken welds; the pillars are cheap, thin-walled aluminum. the bolts and spikes flimsy. "These are very solid, high quality stands with an attractive black epoxy finish. The bases appear to be cast iron and are very heavy. "a nice, sturdy stand. I was a little surprised at the texture of the poles -- they have a textured look and feel rather than smooth metal -- but I found they looked pretty good when set up. It is nice that they give you two sizes of speaker platforms and also two types of feet (spikes and pads).
