"Well I finally made the jump to a HDTV. I do not pretend to be an authority on TVs, a high roller who can buy $20,000 sets, or a person who has owned 10 HDTVs in the past and can compare and contrast my past sets. I did do quite a bit of research beforehand and the best balance of cost to size and function was this set, and I am more than pleased. "Our experience with Samsung DLP television has been wholly unsatisfactory. We purchased a Samsung HL-5075S in December of 2007. During the following 14 months, the lamp on the set burned out 3 times. These lamps should last 3-5 years under normal circumstances. A typical wait for the lamp to be replaced under warranty is about 2 weeks from first phone call until they get a local contractor to come replace it. So..." Read Full Review »
