The Resolv 40a from Samson is a very compact active nearfield studio monitor, great for use in home or project studios. Offered only in pairs, each speaker has a 4" polypropylene woofer with a butyl surround for an extended low frequency response and a 1" silk dome tweeter for clear, detailed highs. The main speaker is powered by two 25W amplifiers for high-quality, low-distortion audio. The master speaker has a front panel volume control knob and standard RCA input connectors for use with a wide variety of other system components. Shielded for use near video monitors and treated with a durable black satin finish, the Resolv 40a is a particularly good choice for desktop use.
