"Relatively light weight given it's size. Sliding base plate has a lot of adjustment distance to accommodate re-balancing when camera configuration changes. No torque loads into legs when panning against stiffest resistance setting making for smoother pans. "

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
