"Tried using internal wifi card and got between 1-18mps....and was only 100 feet or less away in another room...took a chance and bought this Sabrent USB Network Adapter and WOOHOO! i now run min. 135mps! im sure with the right "tweaking" i can get better...but within 10min.(cuz i never used Wifi before, it could be quicker) i was connected and surfing the net! "This device keeps me company while working at my home office doing electronic design by popping up messages telling me when it has reconnected to the wireless network that it loses contact with frequently. The adapter is connected to a desktop that never moves and is supposed to communicate with a wireless router that is also completely stationary. I went cheap, now I'm sad. P.S.
