"Aug 25, 2005. I bought a couple of these to extend the USB ports from some computers on the floor to the desktop. The advertised specs state a 2 meter cord, and the photo shows a cord that should be about that long. In actuality the cord is only about 10cm (4 inches) long. Not what I need. "My emphasis is on price. Almost all USB Hubs work the same (unless their seconds). The difference has to do with (1)number of ports (2)powered vs non-powered and (3)price.
