"I do not have A/C in my house, so when summer came I knew my Cooler Master DK8-9GD4A-0L-GP would not keep my AMD Dual Core cool. "I ordered on line and picked it up at the store. Later, I noticed the package didn't specify Socket 478 but it appeared that it would fit if I removed the CPU cooler bracket from the motherboard (as required with the Socket 775). To do that, I had to remove cards from the motherboard, slide a CD drive out, and remove the motherboard (but was able to leave the wires connected to the board). I did all of this, and..."
