"I have had this unit for about 3 months now, and have been impressed with it. I agree with other reviews in that the unit is lightweight, cheaply constructed, is slow to eject discs at times, and needs a "reboot" every once and a while. "It's cheap, but there's a good reason. The buttons are incredibly cheap and only work with careful pressing and holding (and a bit of wiggling). There is a constant rumble while a disc is inside spinning. The remote is tiny and confusing. The standby light is a gigantic, piercing red laser.
