"The product was set up in my living room in ten minutes, but it wouldn't work with my Canon Vcc-50IR surveillance camera that looks out of my living room window. So I had the transmitter about fifteen feet from the remote and about 15 feet from the receiver. It worked, but only sometimes. ".I purchased the remote extender to operate a cable box and a blu ray enclosed within my entertainment center.
