"It's not a BB chip but for the price you can't beat it... Use it for a RIAA phono stage pre-amp..

Also makes a great upgrade in some MXR pedals such as the Distortion + .... Lowers the noise levels to be more acceptable... "

"One of the things I use this for is guitar effects pedals, for example a boost or overdrive pedal. To my ears it sounded slightly better than the LM741, maybe less noisy. It's a good choice to pick up quickly when you don't want to bother ordering online or through surplus stores. "
