This thing is terrific , mod required

"The device works great for monitoring all phones in your house. Recommend for anyone wanting to stay one step ahead of a cheating or suspected cheating spouse. You have to take a handset cable and crimp an rj11 on 1 end. Ask the geek at radioshack to do this for you or borrow a crimping tool and get the connectors at radio shack. "While the phone connection is easy and the call record quality is superb, with little to no interference from the device, the included software is clunky and ugly.
