"Thought I'd add a measurement that RS doesn't supply: the little box is .92" long (distance along the wires), .88" wide (across the wires), and .45" thick. It is just plugged into the back of the switch, though, so if it's too big you can remove it and just not have the glowy ring.

"I got too excited when I found this switch because it was exactly what I was looking for for my car stereo. In my haste, I failed to read the fine print: 125 volt switch, not 12 volt. Bummer. So I removed the converter box and just use it as a spst switch minus the led feature.

"Cool little switch. Had no trouble installing it...the led's apparently run off of 120v also, something I have not encountered until now. I just modded my coffee pot (about 20 ohm resistance). Works great! "
