"built of poor grade plastic that melts when soldering wire to terminal. Fails 7 out of 7 times when applying solder to wire terminals. Should be recalled as a defective part. "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

"As the other poster said this switch will melt unless your very careful soldering. I went through three of them until I got it right. Reason being that I insisted on this switch was because it looked good in my boat when I was adding accessories. "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
