"U need 2 to multiplex and de-multiplex TV and Sat. I run both signals over one coax and get great service from it. Sat in this area has no local ch but I can receive local ch with in attic antenna. 2 diplexers allow me to use one coax to get both signals to the same TV.W/no loss of signal quality as far as I can see...." "Charging $21.99 for a diplexer is robbery. Picked one up just like the one sold at Radio Shack from a satellite dealer for $3.99. He said the cost on the diplexers are below $1.50 and can't understand why it would be sold for $21.99. I personally will not shop at Radio Shack again because of this type of price qouging...." "The Direct tv installer handed me 2 of them for the house. He would have given me more but had run out. He said they were very cheap. He was shocked by how much i had payed at Radio Shack. yet another reason to stay away from Radio Shack!!! "
