"The bad reviews here are from people who bought the wrong thing for their application. I just bought another handful of these because they work so well! These guys that post here about the signal being worse after they install this are using it to amplify signals that are not in the range of the amplifier! Actually makes things worse

"I installed this hoping to boost my reception as I have a long RG-6 cable run from my attic to my TV (over 100' with a split in the middle.) Not only did it not do anything, it actually made everything worse. I went from some snow and artifact showing up on my screen to almost no picture at all.
