Straight Forward Design Works

"I am a hardware engineer. I have been using this product (and its predecessors) for something approaching 20 years. Straightforward design uses simple passive transformer coupling and a reed relay to activate the recorder. (I actually don’t often use it with a tape recorder) I use this for a coupling device to sound cards and other instrumentation for R&D. If I were to modify the design, I might have specified ..." Won't Fit Into Handset Jack

"- Plug directly into wall jack and there was a lot of static. Probably need a 270-054 Ground Loop Isolator. - Warning: If you use a corporate phone, you most likely need to plug into the handset jack. This Recorder Control's RJ25 phone plug won't fit a phone's handset jack however. RadioShack item 43-1237 has the smaller plug that will fit handset jack...." Read Full Review »
