"I still have Radio Shack gender changers from the 90's that function perfectly; however, these new compact gender changers are very unreliable. If you must use one, mate the connectors only once and firmly secure the connectors in such a way as to avoid any chance of movement. "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
