Bad or Defective Amplifier Design

"I concur with the many others who give this antenna a bad review...though I'll backup my opinion with some quantitative numbers. I tested this antenna two ways. First I compared it with and w/o amplification. I've found that the amplifier doesn't work right. Even though it has a knob to tune the gain, this switch is effectively useless.
