Didn't Last, Hard to Program

"I purchased this radio in January, 2008. We go north for the summer, so the unit was only in use for about 12 months. When we returned in Sept. the clock didn't work. Without the clock, the alerts never ended! I decided to try a different brand. Have been through 2 Midlands and an external antenna. Their sound quality stinks. "I would sleep through severe weather and when it went off I would seek shelter. It has a very loud siron. I would say half the time it does not recieve the alert. It also gets not so great reception and will beep very lould when it looses its reception. Would never give this to a friend "
