"Nice little terminal strip. But the metal surfaces have a smooth, shiny plating that my solder doesn't stick to. I thought I had a strong joint several times but the cooled solder wouldn't adhere and would just pull away when I wiggled it. "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

"These are great for modding and repair of older equipment. These really shine in valve (vacuum tube) amplifiers and other tube-based gear. The middle lug is a ground point, while the rest are best for under 100 volt/5 amp connections. "
